Krislyn M. Coons is a native Illinoisan, graduating from St. Elizabeth School and Granite City Senior High School. She holds an Honors degree in Criminology and Psychology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
Krislyn is currently very busy at home caring for a small animal menagerie, her ever-busy hubby, Brad, and new baby, Averett. With 5 fur-kids (2 dogs and 3 cats) and now a new baby, this consumate neat-freak is often on the go from one cleaning project to another but never seems to get anything done. She occassionaly takes some time for relaxation, and has been an avid yoga practitioner for many years and continues with Stott Pilates. She has become increasingly interested in homeopathy, organics, and green living.
Krislyn spent many years working in accounting, most recently at Clayco, Inc. as a project accountant. She has previously worked as a construction accountant for Drury Development, Corp., as well as several other companies in office management and administration.

Oliver was our first four-legged companion, and is a ton of fun and an occassional challenge. We got Oliver in New Westminster, British Columbia, when living in the Vancouver area. He is well-traveled, making many trips between Canada and the US. He is a very monstrous, rambuncious creature, who loves playing and sometimes torturing the other animals.
Zoë was rescued from The Cat Network in St. Louis. She's a very quiet and petite calico kitten, with a slightly fiesty flair. Zoë is the princess of the house, and reigns accordingly. She is a great companion for Oliver, who enjoys her company--Zoë doesn't always feel the same. She loves new toys, the occassional dose of catnip and naps on the window sill.
Charlie was our first pup, and was rescued from Pet Search St. Louis. He's a charmer, always using his cute looks and happy-go-lucky demeanor to get whatever he wants. We have found in spite of his youthful looks, he's acutally an old man trapped in a puppy body--he likes things his way and no other. Toys that squeak are by far his favorite thing!
Samantha is a rescue from the St. Louis Sr. Dog Project and Charlie's best friend. Samantha had a very unkind owner in the past, but after many months of care she has really come out of her shell. Samantha is a sweet and timid girl who loves to snuggle. She is also a speed-demon dog who enjoys running and jumping and loves puzzle toys and toys that talk.
Guenevere (Gwen) came to Brad and Krislyn from Brad's mother. Many years ago Gwen was Brad's cat, and his mother was kind enough to keep her since he could not have her in his apartment. When Brad's mom moved out of her house to an apartment, Brad and Krislyn were able to take Gwen home with them. She's a very talkative and snuggly cat, who loves the huge cat playground!
