The holidays in the Coons household came and went quite quickly, but were a very special time. Averett enjoyed his first Christmas, opening his own gifts and trying to eat as much paper as possible before mom and dad collected it. He very much enjoyed playing with his new toys, and Brad and Krislyn enjoyed it more than he did. New Years was quiet and uneventful--Avery made it a bit past normal bedtime but only Brad made it to midnight.

In January Avery and Krislyn joined the Kindermusik program. They get to sing songs, learn about instruments and dance. Avery is quite the show-off with his drumming abilities--he practices by banging on everything. He also started attending the Little Gym where he gets to climb around, play games and socialize with other children his age. Surprisingly, he can do a real pull-up on a gynmastics bar, and at only 7 months! He will also be picking up swimming soon.

Krislyn turned one year older in February, much to her dismay, but Brad and Avery cheered her up by bringing her a nice Sushi dinner. Brad's work schedule picked up quite a bit in February also. He began some new project work and also traveled for the last couple of weeks of the month. March is also looking to be a very busy month.
